This tea has an oxidation effect that is due to its color, though the color of leaves can be different going from green to dark brown.
There are several vitamins, minerals and helpful antioxidants that Oolong tea contains. Some of the main ones are polyphenols, theaflavins, thearubigins and EGCG.
Polyphenol antioxidants may reduce blood sugar.
Regular tea consumption may have an effect on improving blood sugar control and lowering risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Another test-tube study showed H-6, an antioxidant in red raspberries led to ovarian cancer cell death. A study on mice revealed the prevention of liver cancer growth with a decrease in tumor development with larger doses of raspberry extract.
May Improve Arthritis
The anti-inflammatory properties in raspberries may reduce symptoms of arthritis. A study on rats given red raspberry extract had a lower risk of arthritis and those that did experience arthritis had less severe symptoms. Another study on rats revealed less swelling and joint destruction. It is suggested that raspberries protect against arthritis by blocking COX-2. COX-2 is an enzyme which causes inflammation and pain.

Hibiscus tea had shown a decrease in systolic blood pressure during a study on people. Five other studies discovered that hibiscus tea decreased both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
Hibiscus may be seen as a safe and natural way to help lower blood pressure, though it is not recommended for those taking hydrochlorothiazide, a type of diuretic used to treat high blood pressure, as it may interact with the drug.
